speaking
engaging, entertaining speakers and hosts
We pride ourselves on being relatable storytellers. Whether as keynote speakers or event hosts, we always focus on offering useful, thought-provoking content for our audience.
Speaking individually or together, we draw on experiences from planning and executing expeditions, and taking on adventure challenges in some of the harshest conditions on the planet, to engage a diverse range of corporates, schools, universities and charities.
Taking the time to understand both the requirements of the client and the audience, we ensure our bespoke talks are tailored to provide the greatest benefit to others, and are as unique as the individuals we aim to inspire.
Having a vision and how to break it into smaller steps, rational decision-making, the power of purpose and boldness, finding resilience, dealing with disruption, and reframing when things don’t work out quite as planned: these are all key aspects and mindsets that apply just as much in life as on expedition.
Sharing what we’ve witnessed in others - as well as our own experiences of finding wellness, and mental and physical health benefits through the outdoors, we seek to inspire others to take positive action in their own lives.
Let’s talk…
Luke Robertson
Luke talks from the heart - and about the pacemaker that regulates his heart.
A few years after it was fitted, he looked out from his hospital bed - this time waiting to undergo brain surgery. As the rays cast shadows on the hills, he visualised seeing that same sun at the South Pole. But, it wasn’t quite as easy as that. Having a goal was one thing, but achieving it was a little more complicated. As was getting insurance.
Taking that first step outside the tent and into something new is tough for all of us, but we all have the resilience to achieve more than we imagine. If someone had told him he’d come through two life-threatening medical conditions to reach the end of a 730 mile solo South Pole journey amongst other expeditions and adventures, he would have had well, self-doubts.
But the outdoors has a power to unlock something in all of us, and Luke’s purpose is to offer others the tools to inspire, enabling them to achieve whatever they set their mind to.
Hazel Robertson
Hazel talks passionately about the huge benefits of getting uncomfortable and challenging ourselves to achieve more than we ever thought possible.
Only by putting ourselves in these situations can we build resilience, which is so important not only on wild and remote expeditions, but in every day life.
Through her talks she brings out her deep love of the natural world, leaving audiences inspired to make their own connection with nature and take on their own challenges.
